This product has a three position switch so that it can be powered in either direction, a stable platform for carrying objects, a hook for towing and blunt ends for pushing. Proved through years of classroom service competing with other devices, and based on the principle that friction is easy to ignore in an earthquake, this 40 cm diameter table resolves angles to 0.5 degree and uses glass quarter bends to display up to four vector quantities at a time using washers to represent their relative magnitudes. Gentle tapping on the table lets the center ring migrate unless the vectors represented are truly in equilibrium.

This design of the traditional wheel and axle eliminates the usual cumbersome fork and pointed pivot bearings and replaces them with a simple axle and single bearing.The GS-301 has four pulley steps, each with a small hole drilled in the rim for attaching a string. The stainless steel axle is mounted in a ball bearing that is embedded in the center of the molding.The GS-302 is a simpler, more economical design with just two pulley steps. The wheel turns in a lubricated sleeve bearing formed in the wheel itself. String or thread can be attached with tape. Tripod, post and clamp not included, but both may be ordered separately.

It's simple physics— a moving object will continue forever at a constant velocity unless it's acted on by an external force. To the physicist, Newton's first law is second nature. Yet it's still fascinating to watch an air track glider moving endlessly back and forth on an air track. It's even more fascinating for students, who are often seeing this simplest form of motion for the first time. An air track glider provides the raw material for highly accurate investigations into the laws of motion. Add a timing system and investigate uniform motion, average and instantaneous velocities, uniform acceleration, elastic and inelastic collisions, impulse and change in momentum, conservation of momentum, conservation of energy and more.The data is precise and unambiguous. Frictional forces are negligible.

A steel ball is launched repeatedly from the same place on a ramp and strikes a recording paper on a target plate that is moved horizontally each time. The Ninja Balls are used for experiments in collision and the law of conservation of momentum. This unit consists of 5 urethane balls of different sizes. After stacking the balls together using the core rod, vertically drop the unit from approximately 1 meter off the ground. The impact caused by the collision of the bottom ball will ripple to the top ball. As a result, the top ball (the smallest ball) will be projected several meters into the air. The kit includes a 20 cm mercury thermometer (10° to 40°C in 0.2°C divisions), and a plastic bag filled with 1000 g of copper metal shot doubly protected by a cloth drawstring bag. At the start of the experiment, the thermometer is inserted into the bag to take the temperature of the copper cuttings. The bag is then dropped from varying heights and the thermometer inserted after each drop to measure the temperature increase. The resulting data can be plotted to determine the amount of work and the loss of potential energy.
